Advanced Technique: White Ink on Black Paper (prerequisite: Zentangle 101)
Each student will create their own insulated tumbler while learning how to use white ink on black paper

Zentangle Workshop – 2 days
We will begin with history and process of Zentangle. Two full tiles with 8 tangles will be completed on the first day.
Moving to more advanced tangles on day two, we will explore Zentangle Inspired Art by learning to apply tangles to a flowerpot. Various tips, tricks and pen selection criteria will be reviewed in this class.

- 8 basic “tangles”
- Introduction to materials
- Guided practice in designing and creating unique Zentangle tiles
- Two hour class
- $35 class fee + $5 materials fee
(Basic class materials, includes Sakura Micron pen, 5 Zentangle tiles, pencil and tortillion – additional materials available for purchase)
Advanced Zentangle
- 8 additional tangles
- Creating tangles from environment
- Additional artistic/practical applications
- Two hour class
- $35 class fee + $5 materials fee
- (prerequisite: Zentangle 101)
(Please bring pen, pencil and tortillion from Basic 101 – other supplies will be provided.)

I am enthralled by this and wish I could take the classes at The Red Shoes this weekend (Nov 19) but will be out of town. Hopefully you will be teaching another class soon that I can attend.
